Photography has been my passion for over 35 years. I've utilized film and digital media to capture imagery in the Pacific Northwest and around the World. My photographic experience has ranged from 1000' deep caves to mountain ranges, from the ocean's depths to the skids of helicopters. With every challenge, I've always been fascinated with capturing that exact instant of wonder and excitement I am seeking.

Photography has become the art of the masses. Nearly everyone today has a camera on their cell phone. Digital technology has sparked a renaissance in photography - better color and a sharpness than the old masters could ever have wished for - and I embrace this new technology. But I feel that a photographer should also experience a print coming to life in a chemical bath, "reading" light without a meter, or balancing the audible snap of the shutter to the focal length of a lens.

Often we are too busy with day-to-day life to really see. My hope is that my craft will inspire you to stop and ponder the amazing creation that surrounds us...
